It’s always a great thing when you find a cooking recipe that can incorporate beer into it, and even more so when it’s a take on a tried and true dish. Take sautéed mushrooms for example. Usually there is butter, perhaps some wine, and then the usual suspects… spices, mushrooms, voila. But this creative cook didn’t have wine handy one day so substituted it with beer, and it sounds like it was a great success.
I mean it has two of my favorite ingredients (besides mushrooms): butter, and craft beer 🙂
